Grade Description
5083 O Known for exceptional performance in extreme environments, 5083 is highly resistant to seawater and industrial chemicals. It retains exceptional strength after welding and has the highest strength of the non-heat treatable alloys, but is not recommended for temperatures exceeding 65°C.
6082 T6 Also known as H30, this medium strength alloy offers excellent corrosion resistance and is the strongest of the 6000 series alloys. It is commonly used for machining and structural applications.
